If you have fallen and/or have a fear of falling you may not participate in the activities you may have done in the past. You may be taking a smaller part in your life roles that define who you are, but that doesn't have to happen. You can be proactive! Before you have a fall, change your home to make it safer for you. Also, you may qualify for occupational therapy to aid in areas of your life you feel need gains.

What Can Occupational Therapy do for you?
Occupational therapy can assist you in returning to your daily activities and roles. Through participating in functional activities you may be able to regain and maintain your independence. We want you to stay safe and independent for as long as possible. Occupational therapy can make you stronger, increase endurance, and much more. If you have fallen before, feel you are at a high risk to fall, or you have a fear of falling that inhibits your daily life you may want to seek out an occupational therapy practitioner for an evaluation.
